Installation Steps:

• Use a stud finder or tap the roof surface to identify the wooden rafters beneath the tiles.
• Mark the rafter positions using a chalk line.

2. Carefully Remove the Tile

• Gently lift and slide out the designated roof tile using a pry bar or similar tool.
• Be cautious not to break the tile.

3. Position the Roof Hook

• Align the roof hook directly over the rafter for maximum strength.
• Ensure the hook extends outwards where the solar rail will be mounted.

4. Secure the Hook to the Rafter

• Drill pilot holes into the rafter to prevent wood splitting.
• Fasten the hook using stainless steel wood screws or lag bolts.
• Ensure the hook is firmly secured and does not move.

5. Reinstall the Tile

• Carefully place the removed tile back over the installed hook.
• If necessary, slightly modify or trim the underside of the tile to fit around the hook.
• Ensure the tile sits properly to maintain waterproofing.

6. Install the Mounting Rails

• Attach aluminum mounting rails to the roof hooks using bolts.
• Check for alignment and adjust as needed.

7. Fasten Solar Modules

8. Final Inspection

• Ensure all components are properly tightened.
